Project Manager


Position Overview
The Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of a specific project which has a beginning, an end and accomplishes project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities.

Essential Job Functions
• Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and goals; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; system improvements; implementing change.
• Achieves customer satisfaction by constant communication, collaboration, and cooperation with the end customer
• Accomplishes human resource objectives by training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
• Maintains a level of open communication and transparency to both upper management and the end client on project progress, limitations, expectations, and end results.
• Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; monitoring expenditures; analyzing job cost and revenue
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Facilitate an environment where safety and quality goals are exceeded
• Attend/Conduct Bid Walks
• Estimating/Bid Reviews
• Create and maintain construction schedules for ongoing and upcoming projects
• Manage close-documentation to completion with in the time frames established
• Conduct audits once projects are completed for true up purposes
• Provide technical guidance to personnel regarding project related tasks

Requirements
• Effective Communication skills a must both orally and written; public speaking and presentation skills recommended but not required
• Interpersonal skills required in order to effectively lead office personnel, construction managers/ foremen from project launch to project completion across multiple projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project Manager or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years Telecom Experience in some capacity of managing deployment or integration
• Knowledge of budgeting practices and tools, revenue/cost analysis
• Must be able to operate and communicate with Windows based programs; i.e. Word, Outlook, etc.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and have a driving record that is in good standing.
• Must be able to spend up to 6 weeks working in the field at a time (travel, lodging, and per diem are paid by the company).
• Must be able to read and understand information and ideas presented in written English.
• Must be able to use a computer or mobile device to complete time card entries, online training courses and read company email messages.
• Must work efficiently and productively at assigned work.
• Must be a team player and work professionally with fellow employees.
• Must be willing to work overtime when required.
• Must be authorized to work within the United States

Other Skills/Abilities
• OSHA 10 Certified – Preferred
• First Aid/CPR Certification – Preferred
• Knowledge of Database Management such as Quickbase, P6, or equivalent a plus.

Foreman


Position Overview
A successful foreman will be able to work with a lead his team to be productive and complete work in a timely manner.

Essential Job Functions
• Responsible for site crew quality, timeliness, accuracy, and schedule
• Lead work on tower top, looking after all aspects of work while at the tower site, ensuring that a quality installation has been performed, including rigging, hoisting, landing, fastening, load-hopping, testing, etc.
• On-site supervision of all related construction activities defined in the SOW
• Maintain project timeline
• Complete daily, per site field reports
• Complete daily, per site Job Safety Analysis
• Provide site scope input
• Collect all on-site closeout documentation and submit to the Construction Coordinator per the deliverable timelines
• Review all on-site closeout documentation for accuracy, completeness and timeliness
• Participate in continuous training offered by Blue Sky Communications
• Anritsu certification and Fiber testing is a plus
• Installation of up-top equipment including masts, clamping, bracing, supports, antennas, RRUs, cabling, bolting, trueing up, shooting proper azimuth within tolerances, reading maps and a compass, torqueing to spec, labeling, plumb and tilt readings with smart level, etc.
• Perform hybrid cable installation, connector installation, sweep and testing assisting, weather proofing, color-coding, labeling, etc. connect coax feedlines and jumpers per piping diagrams, and support and fasten adequately for a quality, lasting installation
• Do grounding, terminations, fastening, proper bolting and antioxidant use, support of leads, cadwelding as required, etc.
• Assist on overall job on ground work as well, all tasks required to build and install a site per customer specs, maintain safe work environment, daily use and completion of JSA/JHA forms, assisting with overall crew work, maintenance of vehicles and equipment, etc.
• Must be able to take pictures, resize pictures, properly fill out documentation (excel, word, e-mail). Closeout requirements are an absolute must
• Knowledge of AC and DC power systems specifically +24VDC and -48VDC along with telecommunication MMBS cabinet installations
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements
• Must have 2+ years of experience running 4 man Tower and/or Civil Crews
• Must have climbing certification (required)
• Must be able and willing to climb heights of up to 500’
• Must be able to take required photos and upload to server
• Must have experience with the installation, termination, and testing of all aspects of a wireless communications site; sweep and fiber testing (required)
• Must have experience in mounting antennas, azimuth verification and RET installations (required)
• Must be able to operate and communicate with Windows based programs; i.e. Word, Excel, etc.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and have a driving record that is in good standing.
• Must be able to spend up to 6 weeks working in the field at a time (travel, lodging, and per diem are paid by the company).
• Must be able to read and understand information and ideas presented in written English.
• Must be able to use a computer or mobile device to complete time card entries, online training courses and read company email messages.
• Must work efficiently and productively at assigned work.

Tower Tech – LTE


Tower Tech – LTE
The successful Tower Technician will perform LTE upgrades with RF Sweep testing and fiber testing.
